I think there is a market for good E-jets indeed. Of course they have already been done by Wilco/Feelthere, but that's basically an FS2004 product that also runs in FSX. It's not FSX native and we all know the limitations that come with that. It can be done much better if it's FSX native. And a good thing is that there won't be people whining to make it FS2004 compatible since they already got the Wilco/Feelthere version.

The E-jets are about the most popular regional jets at the time, most airlines fly them as 'one size smaller than the 737 or A320-series'. A while ago I was browsing the web and I came across a threat somewhere in wich it was proposed that PMDG would make the E-jets for their next project. I can't find it anymore, but as far as I can remember it was not so much the matter of demand but the matter that Embraer was unwilling to share information with PMDG. Therefor they could not make it as good as people expect from PMDG. But the demand was there for sure. The quality of the Wilco Embraers is indeed good. For an FS2004 product.

The problem that matters is that they're not FSX native as they should be. FSX native products can be far better than the best FS2004 products working in FSX. Both on the models and on the systems. For example, take a look at the PMDG 737NGX and compare it to the old PMDG 737 for FS2004. I'm not saying the PMDG FS2004 737 is a bad product, not at all, but it's far from the quality of the NGX. That's because the quality of the NGX would never have been possible in FS2004. The same will be the case with the E-jets.

Same thing I was thinking that it was part of the model. I've used all different types of panels and the buckets would never open. When you use the original panel that came with the pack the buckets open with the thrust reversers so it defiantly isn't a model issue but hard to tell what it is. I'm starting to agree with you this package isn't all that some people have made it out to be.

Who has the best E-190's then if not???Maybe there's a freeware E-190 somewhere, I don't know. Has to be something about the original panel and aircraft.

Usually though any panel will work with any plane. What a weird mystery you have!
